TV Problem. When I turn on my tv at first the screen goes blue and then I see horizontal lines

Question

When I turn on my tv at first the screen goes blue and then I see horizontal lines across the screen but the lines are curved in on the outside. After 10 seconds of seeing this on the screen it shuts off and the light for the "ON Timer" is blinking green. I tried to use my remote to turn off and on the TV but the remote wouldn't correspond with the TV. Also the power switch on the front of the TV doesn't work either. In order to turn the TV off I have to unplug the cord from the outlet. This process happens over and over again. Is there anyway you can help me with this problem?Thank you for your time,Artur Zawada
