I have two wharfdale Tv's in close proximity for my sons upstairs. Of course the trouble is when one changes channels etc so does the other!...Apart from taking one TV back to the shop to change it for another make, I wondered if there was anything I could tweak with regards to the remote?.

  1. You could by one universal remote for one of the tvs and program the remote to work for one tv. This would make that remote only work with the selected television. Or you could move the televisions farther apart.

  2. how close are they??? tv remotes work with infrared, so if you keep the other tv from seeing the remotes projected infrared, it will only change 1. if you wanted to be extreme, you could put a piece of glass betweem the 2, but it would have to be a long piece of glass. glass, because glass doesnt let infrared pass through

  3. the only thing i can think of is to buy 2 cheap freeview boxes for your lads ( different makes), this should cure the problem as they would no longer need the original tv remotes

  4. unless the remotes have a switch for set 1,2 the answer is no
