TV Screen goes black on one show?

Ok, so randomly my Insignia TV will switch to a black screen only when watching Family guy. Ill be watchin the show and then the TV picture goes black almost like a screen saver type thing incase someone leaves the TV on. However it wont do it with ANY other show. If i press OK or exit on my remote itll go away but then re-appear after several seconds. This is a really weird problem... any ideas at all?

Yes please let us know how you resolve this issue.  I was going to guess V-chip also.  Could you also hear the sound?  I would think blocking the sound would be just as important, maybe more so for Family Guy.

One of your buddies was most likely messing with your settings and set it to block the picture only and only for family guy.

Please let us know, this one is interesting and maybe funny.

Check the V-chip setting.  Sometimes it's called Ratings or Parental Control.  The show has a rating higher than the V-chip setting so it is blocking the content from view.
