TV Sony KV-29F1E turn-on failure, red standby LED...

Question

Need to repeat turn-on more than 10-20 times before the TV turns on;

When I press the on/off button you can hear the relay clicking and after 2-3 clicks/attepts the red standby LED starts flashing (no picture and no sound) and I then turn the TV off and repeat the turn-on procedure. After approx 10-20 attempts the TV then suddently turns on..

I have removed the cover, but can't see anything "burned".

Any advise is appreciated..
