TV Speakers/Kareoke?

I have two speakers and a TV. What equipments do I need to hook the speakers into the TV? What about to sing kareoke?

If your TV has connections for the speakers, then you can directly hook up the speakers.

If not, you require a receiver/amplifier to connect your speakers to.

For playing Karoke, you require a special player that can recognize the text.
