TV To Stereo Help????

Question

I Have a Sanyo 20" TV. i'm not sure what model. if you need the model i will look it up. and i have an RCA RS 2620 Stereo.

and my TV looks a little like this:

and i want to hook up my TV Sound to My Stereo Sound. but i'm not sure how. i have 2 L and R audio ports on my stereo. someone please help me! and if there is not enough information, ask me, and i will put more details! thank You!

What are the ports that are present on your TV set .. do it have "Audio out" port? its the port that is generally marked with a speaker icon.

And does your Stereo set have "Audio in" port? its the port generally marked with microphone icon.

If these ports are present then all you need to do is to connect the Audio out from your TV to Audio in on your Stereo set..

i got that same stereo!! you gotta get the red and white cables then plug them into the back of the tv. then into the spot on the stereo. then on the stereo find the source that says video and it should play on your stereo as well
