I recently purchased a 29" Toshiba CRT Flatscreen TV and I noticed that on bright white scenes with high contrast, after 10-20 seconds, small areas of blue or yellow begin to replace what was once white. Then, when I change the channel, the areas that turned blue or yellow from the previous channel remain to affect the other stations for a few more seconds, almost like round blobs, that slowly disappear with time. I have already replaced the Toshiba twice, and each new TV gives me the same problem, particularly when I view a Closed circuit TV channel (the security channel for my building), which is black and white. The black and white picture eventually develops yellow and blue areas (that were once white in contrast)... similar to when someone puts a magnet near the screen. when changing the channel, and then returning a 3 minutes later, these are gone, but they will re-develop if the TV is left on the channel. Any ideas?
