TV Turns off automatically

Question

just can not turn it on anymore. never had theis issue before

my tv will be on for a while....and then poof! turns off and wont turn back on unless I unplug it and plug it back in. Sometimes that doesn't even work until I wait like ten minutes or so. Sometime hitting it works too. (I got frustrated) If you know how I can fix it myself I'm all ears.
