  1. I am hoping for some help with my related issue.  I have a house fed by a well.  There is a pump unit on the wall in the basement that runs whenever any water source is tapped.  It makes a high pitched screeching interference sound when it's running that's actually quite unbearable in the utility room, but you can't here it outside the room if the door is closed.  Unless I'm using any of my guitar amplifiers.  I hear it through one of my 3 television sound systems as well, but not the other 2.  It makes the guitar amps unusable unless I turn off the breaker that powers that box.  I've bought a $1500 power conditioner to plug the amps into - the problem was worse.  I ran a dedicated line from the breaker box to this pump unit.  Didn't help.  The checked the grounding outdoors in the well and said it's grounded double, and each one is twice as deep as necessary.  Guitar is what I do and if I can't eliminate this feedback, I must move.  Any help/advise is appreciated.
