TV/computer monitor problems read add details?

Well you probably know analog tvs won't work next year so i have to throw out on tv and i'm goanna buy a new one even though it's hooked up to satellite i need another because it's pretty old

i was wondering if i could use a large computer monitor as a tv they're much cheaper and it will save me alot of money

so will it wotk???

please answer and include a link if you know of a site that will help me set it up

  1. It will work, but you should consider getting a HD-ready TV, not a monitor. TVs are optimized for use with video. Only specialized PC monitors are also. You may be disappointed with the TV picture on a PC monitor.

  2. if you get the connectors right then yes you can however just FYI the anolog to digital switch will not affect anyone on satellite or cable just the people with tv arials
