TV help???

I'm looking to get a TV. i need to know if a plasma TV that is HD and has 720P is better then an LCD TV that is HD and has 1080P the TVs are both the same price.

Overall i want to know which is better plasma or LCD?

I'd recommend LCD - and go for 1080p,

Post your budget, the screen size you want/need, and the primary use(s) - movies, TV, games, etc.) and you will probably get some fairly reliable answers. Your question here is way too open ended for anyone who is serious to try to answer.

I strongly suggest you go to your local public library and read the HDTV article in the 3/08 Consumer Reports. It appears that you really don't have enough knowledge about available TV technology to ask a good question, which just invites all the c**p answers you see in this forum.
