My TV is over 10 years old and today it stopped being able to go to the "video". the TV remote or button on the television won't let it go. Considering I only watch movies or play games on my TV it is now completely useless so I need a new TV but I know nothing about them and no idea what would be the best to buy please consider a budget. I would hope for less than $200 but would spend up to maybe $350. thanks!

  1. Thrift stores sell TVs for quite low prices and they often are good sets with remotes, just the previous owners upgraded and took their old set to be sold to someone who can't spend much money on one.

  2. A lot of people are upgrading to flat screens & digital sets.

You should be able to pick up an older set very cheaply.

Try a Goodwill or Habitat Re-Store in your community.

Just make sure it's in working order before you take it home.

Some electronic stores will check them out for you.

  3. go too (craigslist) in your area.... look in the electronic section for tvs sometimes people have good deals on tvs.... cause some are leaving the country and dont wanna take there tvs with them.. or there moving and dont wanna drag them all the way across the state... check it out.... good luck....

  4. rob it
