TV in your car!!!!!! POSSIBLE?

i have a touch screen monitor in my car that has a tv function. i was wondering what i need to get, to recieve tv channels into my car i.e.... aerials, decorder box. any 1 have one in their car? im living in dublin city and would like to know wat sort and ow mnay channels can be recieved. i know that there are some on sale on ebay but i dont know if them channels can be recieved here. can any one fill me in. thanks in advance stephen

  1. Yes you ca have it in your car, however it must not be possible to view the screen from the driver's seat.

    You need power source and aerial.


  2. You need to talk to the manufacturer of the tv or the dealer who sold you the car.

    My husband had a tv in his car in the 80's with a special antennae.

    Truckers have also had them in their sleepers for years now, but they only picked up local stations.

    My father in law has Dish tv in his Motor home and uses it to watch satellite while he is camping.

  3. is it factory installed if so what kind of car? If not what brand is it?

  4. You'd probably need an antenna or satellite on your car.  Without that, I doubt you'll get any reception other than the basic channels that you cang get on any tv.  Even so, the picture will probably be awful, and in 2009 you won't even get that (switch to digital transmission).
