TV is DEAD without any prior symptoms

Question

My wife was watcging TV this morning...turned of the TV, and when she came back in the afternoon it would not turn on. No power light and no picture. I tried to turn it on with the switch in the front. I plugged other devices in the outlet and they worked fine.
