TV is going digital next year?

If I have a digital TV and already get digital cable, will I have to get one of those converter boxes?

No, you will not.  You may want to just in case you ever want to suspend your cable and still watch TV, or if the cable goes out and there's a big game on between the Sox & the Cubs.

No you won't need a box.  The digital converter boxes are specifically for those pople who recive their signal over the air with an antenna.

everything will be the same, except if you want to watch tv of the antenna your in for a blank screen, thats it.  They are switching signals next year and will only affect people that watch tv with an antenna. The new signal will produce a better clear picture (High-definition)
