TV making a high pitched noise?

its a brand new sylvania TV. when i turn it on it makes a high pitched noise and doesn't stop. my dad won't let me bring it in to get it repaired, so how can i fix it myself?? thanks!

you can not . its eather the high voltage transformer or the picture tube . replace it . its too dangerious to work on .besides the cost of eather of these parts is the same as a new tv
