TV picture keeps going black?

Question

My TV picture keeps going to black. The sound is fine but the video will just randomly drop out. I've tried jiggling the S-video but nothing works. Doesn't do this when playing DVDs from separate player.

JVC brand 23 inch LCD hooked up with S-video from Directv box.

Turn everything off and then back on?
