TV sound and mouth are not matching?

Question

Has anyone has this problem. I've noticed that when im watching tv when people talk the sound and mouth movement are off. I hear what they say before the mouth moves....... Could it be due to me having satilite tv or my tv itself? Please help cause I have a warranty on my tv and will take it back. Thanks

If this is consistent to all channels and all programs then you may need to unplug the satellite box. then plug it back in  Sometimes digital hardware needs to be reset to make it work normally again.  If that does not fix it is this a TV set and surround sound combination?  The delay might need to be adjusted if a delay control is present on the sound system.  Unfortunately the delay in making a picture on a Plasma Screen, LCD Screen or CRT screen is different.  CRT makes the picture faster.  So that could be the problem if the Surround System was made for use with a CRT monitor and you just changed to a Plasma.

It's a digital issue and it's usually only one station at a time.   The problem is on the broadcast station end.  This happened a lot more last year when stations were still trying to get they're HD and digital act together.

i had the same problem. i don't think its the tv.  most likely because it's digital tv. it eventually corrects itself. i have satelite also and even with cable it does it.  it's annoying but again it corrects itself.  u might trying call the satelite company just to be sure.
