What do I need to record something on TV then put it on my computer? Like a YouTube video. How can I tape parts of a show and make a video from it? I've tried a DVD recorder and it doesn't work on the computer.

  1. You need a tv tuner card, which will allow you to record tv on your computer. Many companies make these, so shop around.
