Does it run on a laptop and does it actually give you over 3000 channels as I am very interested as I take my laptop everywhere. It certainly looks good value for money at around £20 one-off payment.

  1. like most of them sorts of offers, if genuine there probably only availible in US. and you would need a dedicated and fast internet connection.

    you could try:

obne of them might work, they are probably genuine but you will get a poorer quality picture. but it's worth a try. (i think some are free aswell)

  2. No.

But you can watch live Tv and record shows on your computer with a PC Tv tuner card.

You will need a Cable service.

  3. I dont know the device you are referring to...

but the key quetion, in my books, has to be where are the 3000 programmes coming from. they aint coming from Freeveiw as broadcast tv.. Freeview is around 30..40 TV channels I think.. reception is flaky unless you use an indoor aeriel. I have a freeview USB decoder on my laptop, it works fine (it works best when connected to a terrestial ariel). The real problem is that the tv app takes over the whole screen.. so it doens't add anything to the conventional TV. the signal through the supplied aeriel is at best patchy, so roaming around the countryside watching tv on a laptop isn't a possibility.. mind you its not my nature either.. I don't especailly like the tv gazing.. Id rather be doing other things

I cannot imagine you could get satellite signals that were strong enough over a temporary satellite dish.. so that would have to be connected to the a stationary dish.

if its over an internet connection, you may well get 3000+ channnels.. and probably about 2960 will be shopping, softcore p**n, or other fluff programms... even if it is im not convinced you can truly get reasonable rate broadcast down an internet connection, again unless you you have a house connection.  wireless  broadband over a USB dongle is about 2mbps compared to 8..16mbps for a decent fixed line connection. and TV I think needs more than a 4..6Mbps connection

If I were you Id want to check, the quality of the programmes

I'd want to check the availability (assuming there were some programmes that I'd want to watch).. thye may be free, so you may not get any value for your £20.

I'd want to know what actually Im getting for my £20.. you may get some whizzo decryption device, you may get a listing.

but in any event I doubt you will get a good tv programme streaming service without a top quality broadband connection, or a cable connection.
