is a 52" lcd too big for 15ft away?

  1. In general you have to watch a CRT TV, min. 6 times the size of the TV's. For LCDs this is not the case. But keep ample distance for a nice picture.


  2. I just bought a 52 inch LCD and I'm about 14 feet away. It's not easy to take in all the information on the screen. You're a bit further away. It's touch and go really. Go to one at the shops and measure out the distance from the set, then go with what you eyes tell you. Bigger does not always mean better.
