TV tuner and antenna ?

Question

If I buy an external TV tuner for my computer will I have to attach an antenna to it? Or is there an external TV tuner out there that will allow me to watch TV on my computer without the antenna? And is it the same with a internal TV tuner?

Note: I am not talking about the digital converter for February 2009

You'll need an antenna. Internal and external  tuner are the same except of course External tuner is located outside the pc. The only advantage i know of an external tv tuner is that it can be easily removed and transfer to another location.
