TV video problem

Question

I have two TVs both started showing a thin compressed picture in a horizontal line across the screen. I have used different cable outlets, disconnected all my other equipment but the problem persists. My smaller (and older) Sanyo will occasionally work for brief periods but there is nothing consistent going on. Cable guys came out and said it is electrical interference...what now?
