TV will not turn off!?

Question

We watched the TV last night before bed, it turned off just fine before we went to sleep. When I woke up this morning the TV would not turn on! I just went into the bedroom and unplugged the TV, it then powered on, but the TV would not turn off! I have no idea what is going on. We may have had a lightening storm last night, not sure if that would do anything. I know we did not loose power and no other electronics are messing up.

Well i live in toronto not sure if you do so yeah i guess the lightning struck your tv. It struck my tv now i can't use it anymore!
