TV wont go on input channel! Details inside?

My old remote had a button titled INPUT

That would take me to a blue screen where i could play my PS2 and such!

My old remote broke and I've been buying new remotes and some have the INPUT button but they don't work! The buttons don't do what they say and by that i mean, there is a mute button and instead of that it does the RECALL buttons job(sends me to the last viewed channel).

I thought maybe it was just that one remote but i bought 4 more and they all didn't work.

There is no way to get on input through the menu on the TV...

My TV is about 7 years old...

Please help!

Not all remotes in the market will be a match for your TV. Consult the TV company's service centre.

what model is your tv?

Look on the remote for a button that is labeled "Source". That's how I change the "input" on mine. My old one was labeled "input" too. It took some getting used to that Source button.
