I'm going to France July 7th on American Airlines from JFK New York. I was wondering if every individual seat has a TV so i can watch movies?

  1. It depends on the type of plane...on my flight from Chicago to London, we had a Boeing 777 and they did have TVs in every individual seat. On a longer flight from Paris to Miami with a Boeing 767, there weren't individual TVs in economy, just the "old school" screens throughout the cabin. (Both flights were with American Airlines.)

Here, this will tell you what's going to be playing on the screens throughout the cabin:

You can still watch movies, but you won't get to choose what you watch.

    Have a great flight.

  2. well I had a flight to Rio de janerio from LAX

it was fro LAX to chile to rio de janerio, brazil and it had the TV thing you was talking about. but usually it has limited movies. I did watch the first die hard movie. expect a few hours of no enterament durring the later parts of the flight.

  3. Unfortunately, no.  American Airlines in their infinite wisdom decided not to put individual monitors at each seat.  There are overhead monitors located throughout the 767 and 777 cabins that are used to show video programming.  The exception to this is in First and Business class where newly upgraded seats feature not only individual monitors but much wider programming selections.
