TWIC card?

Question

Can someone explain to me the difference between a MRSK, MMD and TWIC card? If we get background checks through Homeland Security/TSA for one, why do we need 3 different cards?

I just got my TWIC card. What I don't get is my employer searches back 7 years and so does TWIC. I think what they are looking for is high risk felons and crimes a person has committed, or been accused of, that could have any sort relation to terrorizing our national security. It is a good thing in my opinion.

What will irk me is when we are required to carry RFID!

twic cards are supposed  to grant u unescorted access to port and docks, i think it's just a step to the uninevitable rfid

The MRSK = mentally retarded school kid

The MMD = maniac mom & dad

The TWIC = transexual women infants & children
