i'm writing a book report for Twilight by Stephenie Meyer and I need ONE QUOTE, that has the perfect amount of imagery/figurative language.

i love these books and its just SO HARD to pick.( I have to write a full paragraph analyzing how the figurative language helps with the plot)

So...Can someone help pick for me???

plus...if you could give me 3 main conflicts in Twilight that'd be great too. I can only think of the 1st.

  3. 3 conflicts

1 . would be her moving to forks

2.she is falling in love with edward but doesn't know how to express it

3 (the obvious one) well uhhh the whole VAMPIRE situation

  4. "and so the lion fell in love with the lamb"

  5. 1. bella meets a mysterious boy and tries to figure out what he is.

    2. edward is a vampire, and edward and bella love eachother

    3. james is a tracker and is tracking down bella to kill her.

"and so the lion fell in love with the lamb"

    perfect quote.

i'd use all of them if i could

"and so the lion fell in love with the lamb"

    "what a stupid lamb."

    "what a sick, masochistic, lion"

  6. You've got the book report to do.  You need to dig to get the answers from your studies, not from Y/A.

  7. why anyone would choose to write a book report on such a shallow book like twilight is beyond me.

how about, 'his breath dazzled me.'

    like wtf?

  8. Yes, there are many good quotes in the book, but i would definitely say "And so the lion fell in love with the lamb" when Bella and Edward are in the meadow... love that line.

  9. with the conflicts one you have between edward and jacob, then you have one between edward and charlie ( i think), and james ( the one that tries to kill bella and tracks her down) also you have one between rosalie and bella...i cant help you with the quote...too many

  10. Your requests suggest, to me, that you might have "read" the work, but did not internalize much of it.

A modest help might be for you to go Search -- enter "imagery figurative language." Research.

  11. umm.... how about the quote about Edward's skin sparkling like his skin has diamonds in it? don't know the exact quote, but it's in chapter 13. That's a good imagery thing.

    3 conflicts:

Edward wants to drink Bella's blood, but he loves her and doesn't want to hurt her

    James wants to kill Bella

Bella loves Edward, but (in the beginning anyways) she doesn't think he loves her back
