Taco Bell Mexican Pizza?

Question

Anyone tried it yet? I see signs for it but I'm not sure if it's worth trying since everything at Taco Bell tends to taste the same and has the same ingredients.

We have had it here for years as a regular item in Ohio.

It has a crispy flat tortilla shell with fillings inside and another shell on top. It has refried beans, ground beef, cheese and tomatoes, maybe a taco sauce or salsa. It is good, my hubby loves them but I just make them at home usually. Give it a try and if you like it you can make it at home with the fillings you like.

I always get the Mexican pizza and hard shell taco combo.  I think they are good.  I guess I like the crunch to them.

i have had it a number of times. it is ok, nothing special considering there is no such thing as a specific mexican pizza in mexico, at least not with those ingredients. you are right that it tastes very similar to the other things they sell.

It sounds good. I have tried the normal pizza and that is very good. If you want to try it and have spare change, why not try not buying the meal deal that comes equipped with it?

It has been around for nearly 20 years, always for a "limited time." I've tried it a few times. It is fair to middlin'. You're right in that it uses the same ingredients.

no, not yet. I just looked at it and it has: Two crisp pizza shells filled with seasoned ground beef, hearty beans and then topped with pizza sauce, a blend of three cheeses — cheddar, pepperjack and mozzarella, melted to perfection, and topped with diced ripe tomatoes. You should try it because things at Taco Bell are not that expensive. I might try it next time I go. Either that or the new Melts: Fajita Steak or Chicken.
