okay so im going to start taking tae bo next week.

and the classes are 3times a week for 1-2 hours.

so i was wondering how much weight could be lost in a year.

so if i go to all the classes, so about 10 hours a week, for 1 year, how much weight would i lose?

thanks:]

  1. first of all i hope you have some exercise experience already.  meaning i hope you are in some type of shape.  to me it sounds like a bit much to take a class like that for so long, so often right from the beginning.  I have worked out with the dvd's.  The system does not have any workouts that are 2 hours long.  They are designed to be started and finished at one time not in small parts over 2 hours in case thats what your gym is doing.  They start in a beginner format and those are about 30 -45 minuted long.  They progress into longer workouts but max out at about 1 hr.  3 times a week is good though.  to lose weight this is all you need.  if you go too hard too fast you will not want to continue.  but it depends on what level of endurance and strength your at now.  Also make sure if they are touting themselves as a tae bo class that they are officially recognized by billy blanks' organization.  anyone can put some kicking and punching to aerobics and use the brand name to sell memberships.  to answer your question...there is no answer for your question.  Everyone is different and the other part of any exercise program is your DIET.  not A diet but what your eating and how much or how often you eat on a regular basis.  If your diet is right and you do this class you will lose more faster.  if not and you just rely on the class then you will lose but not as much.  the numbers will be different for anyone.  look at that weight loss show on nbc...they all do about the same workouts but they still eat differently and they always have different weight loss numbers.  good luck.
