  1. Just keep practicing it. If you go through chong-moo every day, you'll notice yourself improving at it (even if you only do it once). Also keep practicing the 360.

I think you might be wobbling because you lose your balance. Just do exercises that improve this. One good one (that also stretches the inside of your leg) is to stand on one leg and hold onto the instep of the foot that's lifted up and try to straighten this leg out to the side while you continue to old the instep. You need flexibility and balance to pull this off. Repeat with the other leg.

You could also ask your instructor to help you with your pattern. As they'll be able to watch you perform it, they'll be able to correct any mistakes you make and maybe tell you how to improve your 360.

  2. Get your legs really strong so you can balance better, and do it nice and slow.

  3. Without seeing you it’s hard to see what’s wrong but here are the potential problems you might have.

    1. Launching your jump wrongly

    2. The way you group your legs during the jump

    3. And obviously the way you land

The way you execute them will help or impede your balance.

Obviously having balance in general is mandatory like Archangel mentioned and her exercise is not only good for your wobble problem but good for any balance problem you might have.

    Here each point in details:

    1. When you start your jump make sure you bend your knees and explode up by pushing with the same power for each leg. If you push up more from one side you will be already askew in the air.

    2. Raise your knees as high as possible, not only it will push you higher but also it will give you more time to land after. As soon as you rising pivot with your hips counter clockwise. Since your knees are close to your body and hence your feet as well it will be much easier to pivot.

    3. If you launched straight (with equals force on your legs) and you pivoted with your knees grouped then your body should be straight and you would just need at that moment to unfold your legs and land. And of course to execute your knife-hand middle guarding block.

I suggest you first practice without bothering with your hands and when you are pretty stable you can make your blocks. Just make sure you arm your block like you would on the ground (bring the left hand slightly behind the line of your left ear with your right hand at your mouth level). I see too many time people jumping and basically moving their hands to the block from their body to the final position.

    Hope that helps

  4. A tip given to me once was that when you jump, try and open your stance a little wider which slows the spin a little and should allow to correct yourself.
