Taekwondo is part of a olympic but what is the problem about karate why until now is not a part of a olympic?

  1. none of the styles can agree on the same set of rules so we havent been allowed to be included by the olympic committees. the usa-nkf has made major advancements though in the last couple of years and from what they say we're really close to be included.


  2. Forms mostly, it's too iffy as a combat sport because it's very focused on forms and different countries have different rules.... With forms, it can't be like gymnastics or wushu were you can make your own routine, there are certain Karate forms and they would have to have too many competitions, they could do freestyle Karate forms.... but those tend to look sloppy.
