Tag Heur Carrera Twin Time has evil twin

Question

Bought a Twin Time Automatic new at an AD. Noticed that the extra hand was out of position after I had the watch about a day. I had set it 6 hours ahead from Detroit to reflect Amsterdam. After 12 to 15 hours, I noticed the hand was no longer ahead by six hours. My AD sent it to Tag in NY and the entire movement was replaced. I have had it back about four hours and see that a 10.5 hour gap (Detroit to Bombay) has disappeared. Am I breaking something when I set it, is it incredibly bad luck? What do you folks make of this?
