Taillight problem on 99 Oldsmobile Aurora

I have a problem with the taillights and parking lights on my Oldsmobile Aurora. They mysteriously turned on by theirself and killed my battery. When I took the fuse out of the rear passenger side fuse block, the brake lights and turn signals still work but not the dashboard display and taillights. When I put it back in they stay on. The battery is located under the back seat so putting the fuse in and out is gonna be a hassle. I also won't be able to drive at night because of this problem. Sounds like the problem is in your head light switch. possibly needs replacement. have a great one!!! Jake.
