Tain Flip has got a great chance of winning the August 545 – Dup at Mildenhall in England on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. The winner of the 545 metres flat race will be awarded a cash prize of £150 in the end.
Looking at the overall distance to cover in the Grade OR event, it is pretty much clear that the stamina of all participants will be put to a test. However, all of them are fully capable of handling such a situation, thus the competition will be an interesting
one. The action at Mildenhall will begin at 20:30 GMT.
Although no greyhound seems to have a big advantage over the other, yet the bettors should risk more money in favour of Tain Flip, as he has participated in a lot of Grade OR events and knows how to exert pressure on his opponents. He has been given a general
starting price of 11 to 4 by the bookies today.
The S. Walsh’s trainee has got a very good stamina, thus his team will be confident of a strong show. His performances in recent times have not been great, but he has a great chance of breaking the shackles at Mildenhall.
The black dog made his debut July 2011 and was put into competitive racing straight away unlike most of the other debutants, who start their careers with trial events. However, that did not put him under any kind of pressure and he stormed to the top of
the table by a comfortable margin of three lengths.
Despite such a strong start, the young runner was unable to win with consistency and struggled in the next few events. Eventually, he had to polish his skills through trial runs before the start of the 2012 season.
Things did not go well for Tain Flip in his first couple of Grade OR events, but he started improving his performance with the passage of time. He learned the art of delivering under pressure and gave some memorable performances afterwards.
Head Bound’s son out of Tain Arth has not won in this class for the past many events, which is a bit disappointing. However, he likes the conditions at Mildenhall and has done well here in the past, thus he is likely to bounce back today.
