Taiwan vs China - just a few questions?

Here are just some questions i've been wondering about, and i would also like to see what are other people's opinions.

1. Does Taiwan and China have normal trade?

2. Is the Chinese and Taiwanese culture the same?

3. Do Taiwan or Chinese citizens need to have a certain passport in order to be residents in either Taiwan or China?

And for the "best answer", i'll leave it based on the most votes... or if i find a really good answer i might just pick it myself--but most likely i'll leave it to the votes.

No.  In general, like every country, the culture is always evolving slowly.  Taiwan has gone through several period from Indigenous Taiwanese to Japanese to Kuomintang(Chang Kai Cheque's period) to the rise of proud Taiwanese.  For China, it went from original chinese to Communist period to rising capitalism period.  All of these shape the culture in different way.  Taiwanese adopted a lot of Japanese culture into the society.  Chinese eliminated many traditional culture during communist period.  Recently, Chinese and Taiwanese started to adopt some culture, behavior, or language between two of them as well.  Satellite TV pays a significant role in this part.
