A Taiwanese friend told me that there is still discrimination in KMT controlled Taiwan towards (local) Taiwanese. Is this true? in what way?

  1. this is basically because in the KMT there is the element of chinese intaiwan from the mainland versus the people born in native taiwan--- the twain just cannot meet in their nationalistic aspiration

  2. Of course there is discrimination, for the KMT are basically made of up mainland Chinese whom in which have taken over the government. I mean the Chinese Civil War only ended in the 1992 when they realized it is impossible for the KMT to retake the Mainland for the Republic of China.

  3. Discrimination must eliminated because the local Taiwanese should have the same status as those of the KMT.
