Taiyo Yuden DVD-R update

Question

I had recently switched from Samsung to Taiyo Yuden DVD-R. While they are an excellent disc and I havent had any bad discs out of 600 I have had some compatibility issues with them. One of my dvd-rom drives wont play them and someone I traded with had similar problems with a stand alone unit. I am switching back to the samsungs.
