  1. Yaar Guru next time don't put as Macca is built by hindus......

    plz read the the history

Taj Mahal was built by a Muslim, Emperor Shah Jahan (died 1666 C.E.) in the memory of his dear wife and queen Mumtaz Mahal at Agra, India. It is an "elegy in marble" or some say an expression of a "dream." Taj Mahal (meaning Crown Palace) is a Mausoleum that houses the grave of queen Mumtaz Mahal at the lower chamber. The grave of Shah Jahan was added to it later. The queen’s real name was Arjumand Banu. In the tradition of the Mughals, important ladies of the royal family were given another name at their marriage or at some other significant event in their lives, and that new name was commonly used by the public. Shah Jahan's real name was Shahab-ud-din, and he was known as Prince Khurram before ascending to the throne in 1628.

Taj Mahal was constructed over a period of twenty-two years, employing twenty thousand workers. It was completed in 1648 C.E. at a cost of 32 Million Rupees. The construction documents show that its master architect was Ustad ‘Isa, the renowned Islamic architect of his time. The documents contain names of those employed and the inventory of construction materials and their origin. Expert craftsmen from Delhi, Qannauj, Lahore, and Multan were employed. In addition, many renowned Muslim craftsmen from Baghdad, Shiraz and Bukhara worked on many specialized tasks.

  2. There is a saying "History is always written by victors"

There are several historical facts that have been twisted by kings and emperors to suit their wishes. Yes I am convinced about the Tejo Mahal story as well as the fact that the hands of the chief architect were chopped, many times Mughal emperors also chopped off the heads of the "karigars" or artisans. Also remember the fact that during the tyrannical Mughal rule, it was a crime even to speak against the written history that the emperor has decided its written as, you raise your voice and your head was chopped of as voice of decent were always crushed by the Mughals.

That even makes the proofs given by Mr Oak even more interesting as they are gathered from local folklores. We Indians have shamelessly gulped down the history written by the Mughals, the British and latter the Leftists without ever questioning the authenticity of that.

Hence I fully subscribe and believe that Taj Mahal was indeed a Temple of Lord Shiva, as much I believe that there lies a sunken city of Dwarka in the sea and there are indeed 7 submerged temples in sea at Mahabalipuram.

  3. If you read India's history then you supposed to know why and how taj mahal name came from...anyways in short this name taj mahal came from the mogul emperor Shahjahan's queen wife Mumtazmahahal.. and the link of that webiste is not the proof but just fake story..history is the only proof.Internet is still fairly new compare to that time when tajmahal was built.any arguments or articles should be dismissed then.

  4. The Indian Govt. has to come forward to find the truth . I believe, no Govt. till date has the guts to do it ....

  5. i have heard this thing from my uncle bt now i believe it is Lord Shiva temple which was later converted to Tomb.

  6. What Mr.Oak has stated is still a disputable story and without sufficient proof..

  7. This is fascinating! i m knowing this first time now i have to re think of it that it is Tomb bcoz the fact which is given in that site it is really amazing tx goru 4 giving this information.

  8. TAJ MAHAL- “The Symbol of Love”

TAJ MAHAL  is one of the seven wonders of the world. Any one who knows India is familiar with the name Taj Mahal . The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located in Agra, India, that was built under Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

The Taj Mahal is considered the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements from Persian, Turkish, Indian, and Islamic architectural styles. In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was cited as “the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world’s heritage.”
