Bayern Munich forward Takashi Usami has stated that he is hopeful of making an impact at his new club. The striker claimed that he is looking forward to the upcoming season and is determined to perform at the highest level.
The Japanese joined Bayern on a season long loan from J-League club Gamba Osaka with the German side having the option of making the deal permanent at the end of the campaign. The player has joined a host of emerging Japanese players

Usami insisted that he will keep working hard to get his chance to play in the first team and is confident of making a mark in the Bundesliga. The forward wants to prove his metal with the Munich outfit and hoped to perform at
full potential.
“I think if I keep trying hard every day then my chance will come but first I have to show what I am capable and try and catch the eye,” the player was quoted as saying in an interview to the club’s official website.

“I have to get accustomed to everything as quickly as I can so hopefully people will at least get a feeling of what kind of person I am when I speak,” Usami said.

“We have long observed Usami and are glad that he is coming to us because he is a very big talent,” Nerlinger added.
