Takashi Usami under Bayern Munich radar – Gamba Osaka officials
Reports in Osaka, Japan, suggest that Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are keen on signing Japanese teenage sensation, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Japan-c2928’s most promising youngsters. Furthermore,
his performances for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gamba-Osaka-c39399 last season have also alerted some of the biggest sides in Europe. The youngster played an important part in Osaka’s second-place finish last season and has been touted for a big money move to Europe.
Former Bayern Munich coach, Louis Van Gaal, was the first Bayern Munich official who identified the youngster’s potential. The club did consider signing the youngster in the January transfer window but a deal could not materialise. Initially, the club wanted
to give the Gamba Osaka player a trial but it now seems that Bayern Munich are looking to press ahead in acquiring the player. A fee in the region of 1.5 million Euros is considered to be enough to get the player’s signature.
Meanwhile, Gamba Osaka officials also admit that the Bundesliga side is interested in signing the player. Club’s spokeswoman, Kana Koizumi, said while talking to the media, “it is true that Bayern Munich have approached us about Usami. But at this stage
we have no formal announcement to make. There has been no agreement yet.”
Hiroyasu Yamamoto, head of team operations, said that that although a deal has not been finalised, a clause in the player’s contract allows him to move elsewhere (to a foreign club) and admits that the club will not stop him.
Usami has already represented the Blue Samurai at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-22 levels. The youngster is now expected to make his senior team debut in the upcoming Kirin Cup for Japan. The tournament involves http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Czech-Republic-c2882.
