I am thinking of going to medical school in the UK so that i don't have to waste 4 years of my life in useless undergraduate study in the US

So i am in IB and will take the IB exams which i know is accepted by UK universities but i was wondering should i also take the A-levels since they are more familiar with those tests?

Are the SAT or ACT accepted?

And where do u take A-levels in the US and how do you sign up??

  1. Hi! I wouldn't worry about taking A levels if you are taking the IB exam or SATs. Just finish your high school and you will be able to get into a UK university. The universities here are familiar with international qualifications so I wouldn't worry about taking exams you are not familiar with...

If you are really worried, try contacting the universities you are interested in attending. It won't harm anyone to get as much information as possible and they will be able to give you any information you require for your foreign qualifications. Here is the current University rankings:

    Good luck!
