Take a test? Is he mad!? Is the doctor just getting my hopes up or is there a possibility?

My periods have been rather wonky due to my miscarriage that ended in may. I went to see my doctor, who told me that i should settle down soon, but he asked if he could feel my stomach. He kept touching a certain part, then got a stethescope to it. He told me to take a test.

Can it be possible it could be positive even though i've been bleeding? It's not been heavy and it's stopped now. Just wanted to know the possiblities?

I have no idea why he'd be putting a stethescope to your belly this soon, but if he said take a test, then do one in the morning just to be sure.  I miscarried in February and got pregnant again in May and am 17w1d now.  Good luck.

Wondering why he didn't just give you a test? You can be pregnant and still have periods.
