he's our key player, true. but that seems to be the case for other teams as well isnt it. there's always a player that sort of carries the team and sparks them to win games, like for ex ronaldo for man utd, torres for liverpool etc.

but thats not to say the rest dont count for mch. like in barca, we're lucky to have all these other amazing players like xavi, eto'o, iniesta, henry puyol now hleb, alves etc. not to mention our boys from the cantera like bojan, pique, pedrito etc.

these guys all make up barca, and if the preseason says anything its that messi is impt but barca is far from being a one man team.

messi isn't the only key player for barca. barca has eto'o and thierry henry to score the goals and have puyol to prevent the goals AND they still would have xavi who is one of the best play makers in the leagues.
