it was a good swim. every one making rude comments about france should really think about what they're saying... look at how CLOSE that match was. it could have gone either way and just so happened to have fell in favor of the americans. both teams put up an AMAZING fight, and that needs to be recognized. instead of saying "TAKE THAT, FRANCE!", how about "you really gave us a run for our money". making those cocky comments just underlines why a lot of people regard americans as arrogant. try to prove us wrong.

I guess we showed them.  They thought they were going to smash us but we smashed them.  Woo hoo.  That was awesome.  It was so close but I knew we could do it.  What France said really motivated the Americans.  The look on Michael Phelp's face was priceless.  I loved the look on France's face when they didn't win the gold.  Go USA.
