In an all-Japanese affair, Takeshi Endo, gave his senior, Masatoshi Miyazaki, an outstanding three-set defeat at the initial qualifying round of the 2012 Dunlop World Challenge Tennis Tournament, held at the hard courts of Toyota,
Japan. Endo consolidated his victory 6-4, 5-7, 7-6(4) on the eve of Saturday in nearly two hours and seven minutes.

to pick momentum in the ninth game and cashed on his lone break opportunity, concluding the set with a 6-4 lead.
In the second set, the winning pattern completely reversed as the Japanese senior re-ignited his spark to outmuscle his challenger comprehensively. Like before, the two right-hander contestants held their serves with ease, displaying
their command on the game. Miyazaki prolonged his composure until the end and wiped out the last two games. Eventually, he pulled of the equalizer by securing his opponent’s serve in the 11th game and marked a 7-5 lead.
