Hi

I just want to know if anybody here has worked full time and taken 6 classes and how it worked out

I have taken 20 Quarter Units(4 Classes) and community college and transferred with a 3.6

Just want to know how the experience was?

  1. I worked part time and took 18 credits...which was 6 classes like you. And I did a play. Took up most of my time, but I like to keep busy. If you aren't sure you should lessen your load...maybe work a few less hours or take 5 classes instead of 6.

  2. I've been there, done that.  Not easy.  I also had a part-time job, working on weekends too.

If you are doing "full-time" job with full-time college, that indeed is difficult.  You have to be a great organizer, willing to give up some sleep, and hopefully, you can reduce time in driving/transportation between job and work and home, to save valuable time.

If you could use a bus, for example, rather than drive, you could study/read while moving from one place to another, and perhaps also save gasoline too.

While waiting for classes to start, while most are chatting, or socializing, you'll have to be reading, or writing notes.  Waste not, want not, will be your main mantra, especially with time.
