How are these two classes(difficulty wise and work load)? I find that I'm interested in sciences espcially in the environmental science area more so than biology but i feel that taking an AP course in it would be beneficial to me(both courses).

What do you guys think?

  1. APES is the easiest AP test. I took it last year, and got a 4 on the test without studying at all. You could watch discovery channel for a week then pass the test.

  2. Apparently APES is easier than AP Biology and less of a workload. However, AP Biology definitely is a lot of hard work and you have to be willing to put in time and effort into the class. You also have to be able to memorize plenty of vocabulary words and be willing to read lots of material from your giant AP Biology book. Yes, taking both would be beneficial.

  3. Environmental science is really easy, and will probably consist of a lot of simple homework like worksheets and kind of dumb stuff like that. At my high school it was the science class that all the bad-at-science art and music people took to get credit. ;P

AP bio will be a lot more challenging. There's a lot of new concepts you'll have to learn and some of them are kind of intense. It's a lot of studying and memorization, but if you're interested in it, then it shouldn't be difficult, and might even be fun to learn.

I think you're safe taking those two as long as you're relatively experienced at multitasking.

    Good luck.
