Question:

Taking AP Micro and AP Macro economics as a senior in highschool?

I have never taken an AP class in my life, and I'm going to be a senior in high school. I really want to be a business major and I think that it wouldl be a great idea to get these classes out of the way so I do not need to take them in college. (Depeneding on if I get a 4 or 5 on my AP exam). I've never taken economics in my life, and I'm a little nervous. I study hard and am very motivated. Do you think it would be too much for me? How hard is the Ap exam? Thanks

  1. Here is a news flash-contrary to what you may have been told, high school AP classes do not universally convert to substitutes for college classes of the same type.  You may be able to use them in certain states, within the state college system, or something similar, or maybe not, they are HIGH SCHOOL classes, not college level classes.  However,it is still a good idea to take these classes, as a challenge is a good thing-do it, but do not be disappointed if you wind up taking them for college credit in college.  Good luck.

  2. AP Economy is a really good class. It is tough, and I am the same way. I work really hard, and if you wok hard you will be good. Economy is one of the easier social studies APS. GOOD FOR IT. you can do it

  3. wow

    same here

i'm gonna take it too next year !

    high 5

    let's both get 4 or 5!

  4. considering youv never taken an AP class your ganna struggle most people who take this class AP have taken practically all AP classes from being freshman to being seniors but if your up for the challenge than go for it, and most AP exams are difficult, and also most schools only force economics once so its everyones first time taking it, good luck
