Will that be a problem? I have a very vague knowledge, so is it necessary to learn on my own over the summer.

  1. you don't need chemistry

  2. It's biology, not chemistry, so I would assume you don't need to know chemistry...........

  3. I think you'll be fine taking AP Bio without much knowledge in Chemistry. I took it in hs and I did fine. There will be some basic chemistry in that course, but you probably know it already because either you have learned it at one point in time, or the book/teacher will slightly go over it. But Bio and Chem are different areas of study and you don't have to know both to pass. I'm a Bio major and my chemistry sucks. So I believe if you study hard and read the book as well as AP cliff notes, it won't be a problem.

  4. i took honors chem at the same time as AP bio i got an B in chem and an A in AP BIo and a 4 on the exam. you'll be fine.  most people at my highschool took AP Bio as sophmores and chem as a senior anyways.

  5. They are very different and you do not need one to know the other.

  6. ehh i think you will be fine...all you really need for bio is like some organic chem i guess...stuff about carbon and sugars and stuff...just know some stuff about that

  7. No that shouldn't be a problem. I  aced AP bio and I wasn't good at chem. I didn't actually learn chem very well until college. As long as you put the effort in and read/study the book, you should be fine.
